NASDA 2005
September 16-21, 2005
The Otesaga Resort Hotel ~ Cooperstown, New York

Dear Colleague:

As President of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), it is my pleasure to invite you to the NASDA Annual Meeting being held September 16-21 at The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, New York.

Cooperstown is home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and is located amidst a wealth of American history and spectacular scenic beauty in a highly productive agricultural region of the state. The Otesaga, situated on the shores of Otesgo Lake, is one of the country’s premier all around resorts, providing first class accommodations, fine dining and gracious hospitality that will make an ideal meeting place to showcase New York’s tradition of innovation at NASDA 2005.

My staff and I are excited to share the Empire State with you and we have prepared a program I think you will find memorable. This year’s program will offer you the opportunity to take in the many sights and attractions in the Leatherstocking and Saratoga Regions. The program will also allow us to address the tasks at hand while celebrating New York’s diversity, including regional cuisine, live music, sports entertainment and much more.

Please take a moment to review the agenda and registration information and feel free to contact Tim Pezzolesi, the NASDA 2005 Coordinator, at 518-485-7728 or tim.pezzolesi@agmkt.state.ny.us should you have any questions.

I look forward to seeing you in Cooperstown in September!
