John McMillan, a former executive of the Alabama Forestry Association, won 59 percent of the vote to take the agriculture commissioner seat in Alabama. McMillan, 69, lives in Stockton and owned and operated a sawmill for 20 years. He has also served on the state Personnel Board since 1998 and has been commissioner of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. For more information, click here.
