CNMP Watch

CNMP Watch is the complete Web source for manure and nutrient management planning information. It is designed to get you started and assist you with helping livestock producers prepare their nutrient management plans in the many forms they might take. This website emphasizes nutrient management planning and the plans that a livestock producer might need to meet a state or federal water quality regulatory requirement.

CNMP Watch is made possible by NASDA's Research Foundation through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) water quality grant program. The development and maintenance of CNMP Watch includes staff from CropLife America. The Master Plan for CNMP Watch calls for creating a road map for the development and implementation of high quality nutrient management plans that can meet a livestock producer's needs, including regulatory requirements. In some instances this will mean a CNMP. The site places special emphasis on assisting those professionals working to meet requirements for accreditation as Technical Service Providers (TSPs).

Furthermore, CNMP Watch is a component of NASDA's mission to represent the state departments of agriculture in the development, implementation, and communication of sound public policy and programs that support and promote the American agricultural industry, while protecting consumers and the environment. CNMP Watch takes a step further to provide valuable information to the agricultural industry as a whole, including federal and state government agencies, livestock producers, and agricultural service providers.
