A seven-person North Dakota trade delegation led by Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring leaves Saturday for Havana, Cuba. "We will discuss with officials from Alimport, Cuba's central food purchasing agency, the export of North Dakota commodities, especially dry edible beans, peas, wheat and distillers grains to Cuba," Goehring said. "The Cubans are also showing interest in improving their beef herds by obtaining North Dakota genetics." Goehring said the delegation will also work on finalizing phytosanitary documents for exporting North Dakota potatoes to Cuba. For more information, click here.
