Adrian Polansky is the owner of Polansky Farms and Polansky Seed, both in Belleville, Kansas. Until 2001, he served as state executive director for the Kansas State Farm Service Agency. Since 1964, he has been a board member of the Kansas Crop Improvement Association, serving as president from 1986 to 1987. Polansky was on the Agriculture Council of America from 1979 to 1985, including serving as chairman (1983 to 1984).
In 1985, he was the chairman of the U.S. Wheat Associates and was a member for seven years. Additionally, Polansky served as the secretary and treasurer of the National Association of Wheat Growers Education Foundation in 1987.
His honors include the Hammer Award USDA, where Polansky was recognized for his ability to build a government that works better and costs less. Polansky graduated from Kansas State University in 1972 majoring in Agronomy with a bachelor of science in Agriculture.
