NRCS Launches New Strategic Plan

USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has announced a new strategic plan titled "Productive Lands Healthy Environment." The plan is a blueprint that will guide the agency under the 2002 farm bill and future farm bills. However, the plan also maintains flexibility to enable needed adjustments in the future and to recognize local priorities. This plan will guide NRCS in implementing key overarching strategies, managing agency business lines, meeting customer needs, and developing and strengthening capacity to achieve our mission goals.
