FINAL ROUND OF STIMULUS BROADBAND FUNDING UPCOMING

The Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information Administration and USDA's Rural Utilities Service (RUS) announced Tuesday that there will only be one more round of broadband stimulus funding after rounds two and three were consolidated. The agencies are seeking public input on how to improve in the final round of bidding for over $3 billion in funds designed to encourage broadband development and create new jobs.
