Greetings from Iowa! This year’s NASDA Annual meeting will be held in Des Moines, and will address several critical issues facing agriculture across the nation and your state. We have selected the theme of “New Technologies, Proud Traditions” and look forward to showing you some of Iowa’s agriculture.
A meeting of the Gulf of Mexico Hypoxia Task Force will be held on September 11th and 12th in Des Moines to purposefully overlap with the 2012 NASDA Annual Meeting. As a part of this gathering a New Technologies Science Fair will be held at the Iowa State University BioCentury Research Farm on Wednesday, September 12th.
If you would like more information on the Hypoxia Task Force meeting or the New Technologies Science Fair please contact Shawn Richmond by phone, (515) 281 – 7032, or by email, email@example.com.
We have a great program taking shape and look forward to seeing you in Iowa.

Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship
