WHO: National Association of State Departments of Agriculture President Richard A. Ball (NY) will lead conversations between NASDA members and their respective counterparts from Mexico and Canada on opportunities and challenges to agricultural trade between the three countries during the 30th Annual Tri-National Agricultural Accord on Oct. 25-27, 2021.

WHERE: Both virtual and in-person conference attendees will be able to watch the discussions. The hybrid Tri-National Agricultural Accord is being held in Arlington, Virginia, at the Westin Gateway Hotel.

WHEN: The opening ceremony and tri-lateral meetings outlined in the press agenda are open to media. The closing ceremony is also open to press where delegation leads from the U.S., Canada and Mexico will sign a joint communique.

WHAT
: The Tri-National Agricultural Accord is the primary opportunity for senior state and provincial agricultural officials of Canada, the United States, and Mexico to work together collaboratively on agricultural trade and development issues. The Accord represents a longstanding commitment to collaboration on trade between the three countries. The current meeting arrangement dates back to 1992.
