Pre-Meeting Documents

Policy Amendments and Action Items:

Policy Amendments and Action Items should be submitted to Rebecca Barnett by Tuesday, Jan. 25. Items submitted after this date will require a 2/3 vote for consideration. For your reference, NASDA’s existing policy statements are available here. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rebecca Barnett (Rebecca.Barnett@nasda.org).

An electronic version of the policy statements and action items that will be considered during the business meeting will be provided by Friday, Feb. 4. NASDA meetings are now paperless so printed policy books will not be provided onsite.

Proxies

NASDA members wishing to designate a staff member to vote on your behalf during committee meetings or the business meeting should complete a proxy form prior to the meeting. As a reminder, NASDA members (or their proxies) will be allowed to serve on three policy committees. States may attend all committee meetings, but states will only be allowed to vote in the three committees of which they are registered members.

All dues paying NASDA members have a vote during the NASDA business meeting. Please email your proxy forms to Rebecca Barnett (Rebecca.Barnett@nasda.org).

Policy Committees

Members are allowed to serve on three policy committees. Register for the policy committee meetings using this form.

For questions about NASDA’s policymaking process, please contact Senior Director, Public Policy RJ Karney (RJ.Karney@nasda.org).
