The chances for a big new coronavirus relief package appear to increase on the Hill. Support is growing for a $908 billion package put together by a bipartisan group of senators that includes $26 billion in agriculture spending and $10 billion for broadband. Furthermore, Congress is working on a spending agreement this week as the continuing resolution passed in September expires on Dec. 11. There is a possibility for the coronavirus relief packaged to be attached to the appropriations bill for vote before Congress leaves for the holidays and closes out the 116th Congress.
