NASDA’s NASS Program Director Charlie Ingram visited the Arkansas Data Collection Center (DCC) on October 1- November 1, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Arkansas DCC is one of five NASS Data Collection Centers (DCCs) and employs about 100 part-time NASDA phone enumerators who collect agricultural survey data on behalf of NASS from farmers and ranchers in the region and across the country.
During his visit, Charlie met with NASDA supervisors, enumerators and coaches from the morning, afternoon and evening work shifts to provide an update on NASDA activities and policies. The AR DCC has 5 NASDA supervisors and 12 coaches. He also met with DCC Coordinator Margie Whitcotton to discuss workplace management and organizational issues.
All of us at NASDA and NASS appreciate the important survey work and dedicated service to agricultural data collection that is conducted by the Arkansas DCC team!
