The American Farm Bureau Federation is pleased to invite presentation and workshop submissions for the AFBF Annual Convention & IDEAg Trade Show in Nashville, Tennessee, January 5-10, 2018. We are seeking proposals for workshops that keep our members excited by the latest innovations in agriculture, informed about the ever-changing landscape in the industry, and equipped to be better famers and leaders. 

How can you help? We are excited to offer you the opportunity engage in this process by sending out the Request for Speakers Information and Submission Application to anyone you think may be a good fit for the 2018 Annual Convention!

Who should receive the AFBF Request for Proposal?

  • Colleagues and industry associates
  • Colleges and universities…your alma mater
  • Businesses, big & small
  • Associations (ex. AARP and the National Restaurant Association)
  • Government agencies
  • Agricultural professionals you know who are doing amazing things in the industry
  • Anyone else you know to be doing innovative and exciting things that would benefit convention attendees

​Our goal is to provide balanced workshops that meet the variety of interests of convention attendees. We aim to provide specific, action-item focused workshops that provide attendees with knowledge they can take back and apply to their own operations and daily lives.

With your help we look forward to offering our attendees a varied and educational workshop experience during the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 99th Annual Convention and IDEAg Trade Show! All submissions are due by May 26, 2017.
