Biography

Amanda Lady joined NASDA in January 2026. In her role as NASS Program Manager, she works with the director and associate directors on administration and payroll, unemployment, hiring plans and auditing employee systems to ensure compliance. She came to NASDA from USDA, where she served as a budget and accounting technician in the National Operations Division. In her role, she worked very closely with NASDA enumerators on payroll, budget, employee management and other tasks. On the federal side, she helped to run payroll, worked on contracting, supply purchasing and other administrative tasks. Amanda earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University in business management with an emphasis on general management and human resources management in 2004. Amanda is from Spokane, Washington but has lived all over as a Navy Spouse for over 20 years, and enjoys traveling and spending time boating on the lake in the summers with her spouse and children.
