Biography
Chayada Vinyard joined NASDA in January 2025. In her role as associate director of international trade programs, she serves as the regional lead for Southeast Asia and Latin America under the USDA’s Regional Agricultural Promotion Program for both domestic and international export promotion and trade activities. She also supports the programmatic, financial, compliance and administrative functions of NASDA’s cooperative agreements with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
Before joining NASDA, Chayada was an assistant to Minister (Agriculture) at the Office of Agricultural Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. There, she was responsible for monitoring U.S. and Canadian agricultural regulations and policies, as well as supporting Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in trade missions and negotiations. Chayada holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion, a bachelor of laws from Thailand, and master of laws degrees from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and Georgetown University Law Center. Chayada is originally from Thailand and currently lives in Virginia with her husband and a puppy named Tofu. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and discovering new restaurants.
