Biography

Chris Jones joined the NASDA Foundation in January 2023. In this role, he leads projects and programs, strengthens partnerships and elevates the foundation’s visibility. He comes to the NASDA Foundation from the National Pork Board, where he served in various director roles on the Domestic Market Development team. In these roles he led task forces and projects that enabled demand growth for pork throughout the industry supply chain. Additionally, he worked to collaborate with various strategic partners in an effort to bring a holistic story to market about how agriculture commodities can work together to make a difference in our communities. Prior to his work with National Pork Board, Chris spent time in several consumer packaged goods roles with Weston Foods, Heartland Food Products Group, and various national retailers. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and intercultural education from Wheaton College and a master’s in business administration from Colorado State University. In addition to his degrees, Chris holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute and a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) certification from the American Marketing Association. Chris currently resides in Fishers, Indiana with his family, and enjoys spending time cycling and in the outdoors in his free time.
