Biography

Debbie Martin joined NASDA in June 2025 as the national associate director. In this role, she supports national survey initiatives, equipment management and general training projects. Debbie brings 15 years of experience from the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service, where she served as a survey project manager and NASDA coordinator in the Upper Midwest Region. During her time with NASS, she managed multiple surveys, led training sessions and collaborated closely with enumerators. She holds a degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University. Debbie resides in Iowa and enjoys attending her three children’s diverse activities—including sports, outdoor adventures, and electronic gaming events—as well as reading and playing card and board games with her family.
