Biography
Katelyn Silva joined NASDA in June 2026. As executive administrator, she supports NASDA’s CEO and leadership team through executive scheduling, correspondence, event coordination, member and partner communications, expense reporting and office operations. She previously served as the federal affairs intern with the National Pork Producers Council. In this role, she monitored congressional and regulatory developments, developed policy materials, coordinated industry engagement efforts and supported federal advocacy initiatives on behalf of U.S. pork producers. Katelyn earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business in 2025 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Katelyn is from Livermore, California, and enjoys traveling, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends.
