Biography

Laila joined NASDA in October 2025 as grants coordinator. In this role, she supports administrative functions for the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service cooperative agreement, as well as planning for NASDA’s export promotion and trade programs. Laila previously interned with both the operations and international trade teams at NASDA, supporting administrative, finance and trade activities. Laila earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies with a minor in Spanish from American University in Washington, D.C. Laila is from Richmond, Virginia, and enjoys being outdoors in her free time.
