Biography

Matt Denetclaw joined NASDA in October 2026. In this role, he is the Producer Engagement Coordinator for New Mexico and Arizona. Matt previously served as Geographic Information System Tech for the Navajo Nation Department of Agriculture, where he served producers in numerous capacities providing assistance to producers who manage 17 million acres across the Navajo Nation. Matt studied at San Juan College and Frank Phillips College where he was a member of the Livestock Judging Team. Matt is from Shiprock, New Mexico and enjoys raising cattle with his family and auctioneering in his free time.
