Biography

Stephanie McBath joined NASDA in December 2022. In her role, she staffs the Animal Agriculture and the Natural Resources and Environment Policy Committees and handles issues related to agricultural labor (H-2A), conservation, WOTUS, animal disease and climate. Stephanie previously served as Senior Legislative Assistant for Congressman Dan Newhouse (WA-04) where she managed a robust policy portfolio, including appropriations, energy, water, tribal issues, broadband and other areas. Prior to that, she served as a Legislative and Press Assistant for Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21). Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in animal science and a minor in business. Stephanie has a background in the dairy industry and is originally from upstate New York.
