Biography

Cary Giguere oversaw the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets’ pesticide program for over 20 years, and was in the program’s laboratory for 9 years prior to that. He has a strong laboratory background including developing Vermont’s all-agency state analytical laboratory, and has extensive experience in translating EPA’s goals into workable solutions for the nation’s pesticide programs through his leadership on AAPCO and SFIREG. He also joined OECA staff working on the original PART measures as well as the follow-up group to refine the measures. He’s participated on both the PIRT and PREP steering committees and many course planning committees over his career.
