WHO: The NASDA 2021-2022 President will lead a hybrid press conference to share about NASDA’s newly adopted policy items. NASDA CEO Dr. Barb Glenn and NASDA Senior Director, Public Policy RJ Karney will also be available. The conference will follow the conclusion of the hybrid 2021 NASDA Annual Meeting.

WHERE: Both virtual and in-person registered press will be able to participate. The hybrid NASDA Annual Meeting is being held in Louisville, Kentucky, Sept. 19-22 at the Seelbach Hotel.

WHAT: NASDA members will deliberate on proposed policy from 12:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Final voting will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22 during the NASDA business meeting, at which time the 2021-2022 NASDA President will also be inducted. Registration to attend is free for all members of the press.

The 2021 NASDA Annual Meeting is themed “Redefining Agriculture.” The meeting theme will guide NASDA’s conversations and policy making on COVID-19 recovery and agricultural and food issues. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to keep up with the entire conference, and use our hashtag #RedefiningAg.
