Course Goals

State and Federal enforcement partners will prepare draft inspection guidance for monitoring compliance with ESA label requirements and mitigations to provide a template for consistent strategies across the country. The goal of the workshop is the production of draft inspector guidance that is consistent with EPA’s current thinking for monitoring compliance with the endangered species protections and mitigation strategies incorporated on pesticide labels as well as compliance monitoring for Bulletins Live! Two and mitigation menu requirements. The draft guidance will then be handed off to SFIREG’s Endangered Species Strategy Implementation Working Committee for finalization in consultation with USEPA.
