Notice of Business Meeting:
Pursuant to NASDA’s bylaws, NASDA Members are also notified of a Business Meeting of the Association to be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 11:30 a.m. ET. This time is subject to change.
Policy Amendments and Action Items:
Policy Amendments and Action Items should be submitted via email to RJ Karney by Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025. Items submitted after this date will require a 2/3 vote for consideration. For your reference, NASDA’s existing policy statements are available on the NASDA website.
Policy Book
An electronic version of the policy book will be provided by Friday, Jan. 23. NASDA meetings are now paperless so printed policy books will not be provided onsite.
Proxies:
NASDA members wanting to designate a staff member to vote on your behalf during Committee Meetings or the Business Meeting should complete a proxy form before the meeting. As a reminder, NASDA members (or their proxies) will be allowed to serve on three policy committees. States may attend all committee meetings, but states will only be allowed to vote in the three committees of which they are registered members.
All dues-paying NASDA members have a vote during the NASDA Business Meeting. Please email your proxy form to Patrick Wade.
Policy Committees:
NASDA members are allowed to serve on three policy committees during the Winter Policy Conference. Register for the policy committee meetings by Monday, Jan. 26.
If you have any questions about our policymaking process, please contact NASDA Sr. Director of Public Policy RJ Karney.
