Reps. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and Antonio Delgado (D-N.Y.) are circulating a “Dear Colleague” in support of funding for the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network in Fiscal Year 2022. NASDA members are asked to contact their congressional delegation and ask them to sign onto this letter. Congressional offices should contact Zach Jacobs with Rep. Emmer (zach.jacobs@mail.house.gov) or Chelsea Glynn with Rep. Delgado (chelsea.glynn@mail.house.gov) to add their signature or ask a question. The deadline to sign-on is Tuesday, April 20th.

In the 2018 Farm Bill, Congress included a provision that would reauthorize the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network, which provides grants for extension services, state departments of agriculture, nonprofit organizations and other entities to provide stress assistance programs to farmers, ranchers, farmworkers and those who work with them. NASDA supports funding this program.
