WHO: U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack will provide perspective on administration priorities and issues important to the agriculture and food industry during the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture Annual Meeting on Sept. 26-29, 2022.
WHEN: Secretary Vilsack will give remarks during the meeting’s opening plenary session on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m. ET. There, Secretary Vilsack will announce further details on USDA’s $500 million grant program to increase American-made fertilizer production. At 11:30 a.m., immediately following the closing of the plenary session, Secretary Vilsack will host a media availability.
WHERE: Both virtual and in-person conference attendees will be able to watch the remarks. The NASDA Annual Meeting is being held in Saratoga Springs, New York, at the Saratoga Hilton.
