Please join us for the 30th anniversary of this critical international event.

USMCA offers significant opportunities for expanded trade in agricultural products throughout the North American Market, as well as the potential for leveraging North American competitiveness in the global market. Our trade agreements require constant vigilance to secure these promised benefits. USMCA, like its predecessor agreements (CAFTA and NAFTA) establish a robust consultative mechanism where federal trade officials receive input directly from state and provincial agricultural leaders. This consultative process occurs each year through an assembly of state and provincial leaders meeting as delegates to the Tri-National Agricultural Accord (TNA).

This year, the United States will host the 30th annual meeting of the TNA from October 25th through the 27th in Arlington, VA where delegates will discuss pressing issues including (but not limited to) regulatory cooperation on pesticide and biotechnology reviews; continuing preparation to combat the threat of African Swine Fever; opportunities for agricultural trade based on the principals of agricultural sustainability and climate resilience; and addressing commodity specific concerns including trade in dairy products with Canada.
